I've just completed a big upgrade to our forum. I've upgraded our forum engine to the lastest version, skipping a few incremental versions in between. We are now using the lastest, greatest version, SMF 2.0 Release Candidate 2. With this upgrade of course comes a whole host of forum enhancements and features. Look around and explore. Due to this upgrade, we have been given the oppurtunity to upgrade the forum mods we use (such as, arcade, spoiler tag) to their respective newest versions. Also, to top it off, once again while the oppurtunity was available, we upgraded the software for the database that holds all our forum information, from MySQL 4 to 5. This is probably the biggest upgrade this iteration of our forum has seen, and is also probably the one thats gone by the smoothest. Now that all this is behind us, I will get to revamping our layout. By upgrading our old layout was no longer compatible. So, it will have to be re-done. I'll post again when the layout is done and up!
UPDATE: Yup, the NGA forum layout is back up. There are still some things to tweak with, but its just asthetics. Everything should be working just fine! Enjoy!
