Pure Pwnage

Anybody else catch the first episode of the Pure Pwnage TV series? I thought it was pretty good. Couple of differences from the web series but it's mostly for the better I think. I like that they kept most of the same soundtrack too. Nice to hear some of the old themes from the earlier eps.

I watched the premiere too. I honestly wasn't expecting it to be as good as the web series, because of all the cast changes and staff additions, but it turned out to be a great first episode. I wasn't expecting them to use much in-game footage, if any, but they did. As for the actual story, I wasn't sure if they were going to restart from the beginning or from scratch, but they seemed to do a mixture of both, while paying homage to the web series in the process. Also, FPS Doug's introduction was good, but when he did it in the snow in the web series, for whatever reason, I liked it better. Also, I'm glad its on late enough at night that they aren't really censored.

I'll be watching this show for sure.

Speaking of Doug's intro... I really missed the "What's up? I'm Doug. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUCK!" line from the web series. That one always made me lol

So I managed to see the first episode now, and i actually enjoyed it alot, i can't wait to see more of it.
