| Kurama was once a legendary thief in the Makai until one day when he was shot during an attempted burglary. He survived the attack, but was forced to inhabit the body of an unborn child in order to regain his strength. Eventually Kurama became permanently "fused" with the child and came to be known as Shuichi Minamino. Kurama does actually learn how to return to his demon or "Yoko" form, but only does this in times of dire need, as he prefers his human form. You wouldn't know by looking at him, but Kurama is actually about 500+ years old. His primary weapon is a rose, which he can transform into a whip (Rose Whip) at will. This is because Kurama has the unique ability to control and manipulate plants. |
